Devon Shaffren, a scientist for the U.S. Weather Bureau, has totally gone off the deep end berating what he deems is a publicity hungry colleague that could destroy the reputation of the bureau. Tory Maxton is that colleague. An unfortunate incident beyond his control has thrust a minor theory he had into international headlines when an off-the-cuff comment he made went viral.
But, if Tory’s theory is so off-the-wall, why is he being chased across three continents. Why has a contest to find him been posted on the Internet offering a $250,000 reward for a cell phone photo of him listing his whereabouts. Everyone on the planet carries a cell phone today. Can he avoid detection, or is he toast?
